Teacher of English as an Additional Language (EAL)

The post holder will work closely with the Head of EAL and  key members of the teaching staff to develop students’ command of English within the school. English language abilities to support IGCSE (14-16) and potentially A Level (16-18) year old students.   The EAL teacher will be expected to: Plan and prepare courses, schemes of work and individual lessons appropriate to the needs of the students Plan work to meet the learning needs of all students using a variety of styles of teaching for learning, and embed differentiation and rigour into each lesson Ensure planning documentation is available and shared with colleagues Ensure that every lesson has a clear and effective structure Use teaching strategies to encourage and develop independent learning Identify learning objectives and the outcomes/criteria for success for every lesson Monitor student progress to set expectations and provide constructive feedback Maintain appropriate standardised records used by the school to demonstrate progress made by students Maintain confidentiality according to the school’s and legal requirements Ensure excellent pastoral care Contribute to the co-curricular programme and whole-school activities in a committed and enthusiastic manner Work cooperatively and supportively with all members of staff

Career Counselor

Position Purpose: To provide professional career counseling services to students a by guiding them in identifying their interests, strengths, and career goals, and supporting their educational and professional development. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one or group career counseling sessions to students. Organize and facilitate workshops, seminars, and informational sessions related to career planning, college applications, resume writing, interview skills, etc. Conduct assessments (interest inventories, personality tests, etc.) and interpret results to help individuals make informed career choices. Guide graduating students in exploring higher education and job opportunities. Maintain and update resources related to colleges, scholarships, internships, and careers. Assist individuals in developing personal development and career action plans. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other departments as needed. Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions and progress.

Head of Human Resource department

supporting the development and implementation of Human Resources initiatives and information systems; managing the recruitment process, which involves but is not limited to preparing job descriptions, posting advertisements, screening applications, scheduling interviews, formalising contracts and conducting background checks for both domestic and expatriate hires; supporting the Head Master in the creation and implementation of effective on boarding plans; liaising with Head Master, Business Director and CFO on policies and procedures regarding employment, staffing, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures, absence management, welfare and training; Preparation of Staff Handbooks; advising on salary and other remuneration issues, including stipends and benefits; negotiating with staff and their representatives on issues relating to salary and conditions; liaising with the Finance Team with the administration of payroll and maintaining employee attendance records; liaising with head team in the development and management of the annual Human Resources budget; analysing training needs in conjunction with departmental managers; assisting with the School Performance Management Review processes; developing HR planning strategies, which consider immediate and long-term staffing requirements; supporting the management of disciplinary and grievance issues; maintaining employee records according to School data protection policy, retention of records policy and legal requirements of Mongolia; reviewing employment and working conditions to ensure compliance with Mongolian law.

Математикийн багш

Teach Mathematics as per contract across multiple classes and year groups. Manage the delivery of education in lessons as per timetable and the resources provided in their classroom/workplace. Teach students according the requirements of the National Curriculum of England and Wales as adapted for the context of Mongolia and the directives of the Ministry of Education, and the Cambridge Assessment International Education specification for examination year groups. Responsible for maintaining the health and safety, conduct, discipline, welfare and well-being of the students they teach Mark and monitor students’ work according to School policy, providing constructive feedback and setting targets for students’ progress. Write reports relating to the progress, development and learning of students periodically as per the reporting cycle, but also on request from a member of the School Leadership Team. Maintain a working knowledge of and adherence to School policies and procedures. Promote the School internally, in the external local community and on-line as per the School’s General Communications Policy and Social Media policy. Liaise with members of the administration team to support the annual inventory of equipment and resources. Take on additional responsibilities and duties as reasonably required by the Head Master.
