The Quality Supplier Development Center (QSDC) is a “membership-based” business development organization founded by private sector representatives and supported by the US Agency for International Development (USAID) funded Business Plus Initiative project. The primary objective of the QSDC is to increase the competitiveness of Mongolian companies, enabling firms to overcome barriers to increasing sales and meeting the growing buyer demand within the country.

II. Supplier developmentprogram:

1.Identify concrete demands for products or services from private companies.

2.Identify current or potential suppliers to meet demands and conduct a gap analysis of bottlenecks inhibiting those transactions.

3.Provide technical assistance to overcome identified bottlenecks. Services could include:

•Quality improvement and standardization

•Expansion of production capacity

•Adoption of new technologies
