Information Technology Officer
Under the guidance and supervision of the IT Manager – you are responsible to ensure all IT system policies and procedures are followed. You will be rectifying system malfunction or user / guest problem. You will be responsible for the coordination and installation of all necessary application Systems and Software. You will be troubleshooting hardware devices and network equipment and will be in-charge of data maintenance, backup and recovery procedure. You will need to ensure smooth operations within the department by coordinating various IT activities.
Key responsibilities:
· Knowledgeable on IT daily operations and functions
· Liaising with product vendors & the IT personnel
· Coordinating communication & cooperation between other departments & the IT
· Filing & Document Control
· Office Organization
· Software & Hardware Inventory
· Documenting Standard Operating Procedures within the department
· To log all guest complaints for further investigation and Follow up on the action taken.
· Equipment tracking to prevent loss of existing IT assets
· Creation of User Accounts on the network.
Experiences and skills required:
· At least 1-2 years relevant experience in the IT Sector,
· Experience in hospitality industry is an advantage
· Good communication skills in English & Mongolian (both written and spoken)
· Excellent Computer Literacy
· Degree in BS Information Technology or BS Computer Science or BS Computer Engineering is an advantage
· Experience in Visual FoxPro Programming and knows Windows Active Directory Implementation & Administration, Network Firewall/Router/Switch
· Knowledge of Lotus Notes, and Internet DNS Settings is a requirement
· Knowledge of Fidelio/Opera PMS and Infrasys POS is an advantage
· Knowledge of computer peripheral devices troubleshooting
