TAX ACCOUNTANT
Job description
The Tax Accountant is responsible for computation, preparation and submission of all tax returns in full compliance with laws and regulations.
- Prepare and file all tax returns (corporate income tax, VAT, withholding taxes, etc.) in full compliance with local laws and regulations
- Prepare transfer pricing documentation on annual basis, submit the reports
- Ensure timely and accurate tax reporting for monthly, quarterly, and annual periods
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the business
- Perform accurate booking and reconciliation of all tax-related entries in the accounting systems
- Ensure accurate tax balances are reflected in the financial statements.
- Act as the main point of contact for tax auditors and external tax consultants
- Prepare documentation and respond to inquiries during internal and external audits, including tax inspections
- Maintain professional, ethical relationships with tax authorities, ensuring clear and effective communication
- Assist in the preparation of the annual financial statements
- Collaborate with other finance team members to ensure tax compliance aligns with financial reporting objectives
- Contribute to additional finance and accounting activities, such as fixed asset inventories and reporting
- Participate in improving internal processes and tax-related controls within the accounting department
- Perform other relevant duties as and when requested
Job requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar tax or accounting role, ideally within an industrial or mining environment.
- Recognized professional certification such as CPTA, MonCPA, ACCA, or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of local tax laws and accounting principles
- High level of communication skills and professionalism in working with internal and external stakeholders.
- Advanced Excel skills; knowledge of SAP is highly appreciated
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)

- 5*2 days work schedule, (4 days at office, 1-day remote work)
