Reman Coordinator
Job description
- Liaises with customers to ensure the availability of Reman components in accordance with customer planning programs.
- Liaises with customers to ensure purchase orders are received and invoices are raised in accordance with relevant contract agreements.
- Liaises with rebuild facilities to ensure availability of Rebuild kits, parts and labor are available to support customer-planned overhaul programs.
- Liaise with rebuild facilities and TM warehouse to ensure on-time repair and transportation of components.
- Coordinates the annual inventory count which includes count sheets, reconciliation of accounts and adjustments to master files.
- Review all OEM RPL’s together with Maintenance Planning personnel to ensure adequate inventory is held and ordered to meet Equipment Life Plans.
- Reports on any questionable practices that affect inventory turns, availability, accuracy and values.
- Work closely with all branches to identify obsolete, slow-moving, and surplus inventory.
- Works closely with the corporate parts department to ensure compliance with SMS inventory guidelines and procedures.
- Review the impact of the manufacturer’s inventory and delivery changes and make adjustments to inventories as required to ensure the integrity of availability levels.
- Provide monthly inventory reports as required.
Job requirements
- 2-3 years inventory experience preferably in an industrial mining equipment environment.
- Excellent computer proficiency in MS office
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
- Ability to develop, negotiate and administer supplier contracts.
- Planning and organizational skills, including the ability to meet deadlines and complete projects.
- Ability to work independently and/ or as part of a team.
- Knowledge of company and customer standards and procedures as applicable to inventory.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, with a wide variety of individuals and groups.
- Ability to analyze budgetary expenditures for compliance with approved budget.
- Detail oriented.
