Internship Purposes

Our internship program is designed to immerse you into KPMG and our culture. At KPMG, we believe that internship is the most valuable tool for when deciding on a career. As well as giving you the chance to gain an invaluable overview of the professional services sector, this will give you an excellent insight into the work we do, our culture and people and provide you with some interactive learning opportunities to enhance your skills.

Requirements:

• Final grade student with a GPA score of 2.8 and above
• Pursuing the bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economic would be preferred

• Good understanding of the financial statements and related disclosures
• Analytical skills, logical thinking, strong communication and good time management
• Good technical aptitude, demonstrated quality service mindset, critical thinking skills
• Ability to navigate MS Office applications with a general understanding of data analysis techniques would be an advantage
• Advanced level of English

The scheme is designed to equip you with the skills and experience needed to kickstart a career in financial services. You’ll be appointed with a mentor as your direct contact to provide any advice and guidance you may need. If all goes well you could even land yourself a job offer!

Our team offers the following services to our clients:

• Statutory and non-statutory audit services under International Standards on Auditing
• Reviews under International Standard on Review Engagements
• Agreed Upon Procedures and Compilations under International Standards on Related Services Engagements
• Assurance Engagements Other Than Audits or Reviews of Historical Financial Information
• Other Accounting Advisory (for example developing accounting policy, support on or preparation of complicated financial statements, implementation of new IFRS Accounting Standards, enhancing accounting processes and internal controls, etc.)
