COMPLIANCE OFFICER
Job description
The Compliance Officer ensures full compliance with mandatory regulatory requirements, international anti-corruption standards, and internal ethics rules. The role focuses on minimizing compliance risks, strengthening the company’s ethical culture, and providing guidance to management and employees.
- Identify, assess, and monitor compliance risks related to anti-corruption laws, Badrakh Energy’s and Orano’s ethics standards
- Develop, implement, and improve compliance procedures, policies, and standards
- Promote a risk-based compliance culture throughout company
- Implement disciplinary measures for violations of the Code of Ethics
- Enforce internal and external accounting controls to prevent corruption and trading in influence
- Provide recommendations to minimize compliance risks and monitor implementation
- Identify, assess, and help resolve conflicts of interest within the Company and its counterparties
- Participate in defining and protecting trade secrets and confidential information
- Conduct compliance due diligence on counterparties
- Deliver compliance training to employees and contractors
- Conduct compliance investigations as per internal regulations
- Participate in drafting and reviewing internal regulatory documents related to compliance
- Provide the Executive Director with regular reports on compliance risk management and the anti-corruption program
- Advise management on compliance requirements and legislative updates
- Liaise with compliance departments of Badrakh Energy stakeholders and share required reports and information
- Conduct internal controls to ensure compliance with Mongolian laws, including developing a legal register and performing annual or quarterly compliance checks on selected legal requirements
Job requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Compliance, Business Administration, or related field
- Proven experience in compliance, legal, or anti-corruption roles
- Strong knowledge of Mongolian legislation and international anti-corruption standards
- Excellent risk assessment, investigation, and advisory skills
- Strong communication and training abilities
- High integrity, confidentiality, and ethical standards
- Fluency in English language and French is an asset

- Based in Ulaanbaatar
- 5*2 days work schedule, (4 days at office, 1-day remote work)
