This is a key role responsible for overseeing the design, permitting, procurement, construction, and commissioning of large-scale industrial infrastructure projects.

• Oversee engineering, procurement, permitting, construction, and commissioning activities
• Supervise contractors, ensuring adherence to technical standards, budget, quality, and schedule
• Proactively address scheduling risks and implement recovery plans
• Monitor and validate design inputs to ensure operational efficiency and long-term asset performance
• Support the development of technical specifications for equipment, packages, and services
• Ensure construction meets international safety and quality standards
• Promote a strong Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) culture through leadership and example
• Organize commissioning activities and ensure smooth handover to operations, including training and documentation
• Maintain proper project documentation and reporting, aligned with stakeholder expectations
• Establish and maintain strong communication and collaborative relationships with shareholders
• Ensure all site activities comply with Mongolian laws and internal company policies, especially regarding safety and environmental protection
• Coordinate cross-functional support with other departments

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in complex industrial or infrastructure projects
• At least 5 years in a senior engineering or leadership role within an EPC or EPCM project delivery model
• Strong ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and process flow diagrams
• Proven experience in construction, commissioning, and operational readiness
• Proficiency in project planning tools such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
• Familiarity with Mongolian permitting and compliance processes (preferred)
• Fluency in Mongolian and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated experience working in multicultural, international project environments
